Ward muscles to eighth in Charlie Clark Memorial at Park Jeff
Tim Ward’s 2024 season continued on Saturday with a trip to Park Jefferson Speedway (Jefferson, S.D.) for the second annual Charlie Clark Memorial.
Drawing 37 IMCA Modifieds to the track that was recently reduced from a 3/8-mile oval down to a banked 1/4-mile, Ward secured his spot into the redraw with a runner-up heat finish. Rolling off 10th for the $5,522-to-win A-Main, Tim climbed two positions in the 44-lap affair to register an eighth-place finish.
