Ward wheels to 10th in MOD WARS 100 at Heart O' Texas Speedway
Tim Ward trekked to Heart O’ Texas (Waco, Texas) this past week to pilot the Chris Bragg Racing No. 24 GRT Race Cars Modified for the inaugural MOD WARS 100.
After finishing 15th in Wednesday’s All-Star Race, Ward officially kicked off the MOD WARS 100 on Thursday with a fourth-place finish in his preliminary feature.
For another round of prelims on Friday, Tim followed up a third-place outing in his showdown qualifier with an 11th-place finish in one of the 25-lap A-Mains.
On Saturday, Ward secured his spot into the $50,000-to-win MOD WARS 100 finale with a runner-up showing in his LCQ. Starting in 23rd, Tim advanced through the field 13 spots in the 100-lap affair to bring home a 10th-place finish.
