Tim Ward closes out three-race swing with podium run at Independence Motor Speedway
Tim Ward kicked off a three-race swing on Friday afternoon at Marshalltown (Iowa.) Speedway for the track's season opener.
Charging from sixth-to-second in his heat race, Ward started the 20-lap feature from the third-position before a mechanical failure forced him to pull in early.
Making an appearance at Boone (Iowa.) Speedway on Saturday, Ward once again stormed forward in his heat race and recorded a Top-10 finish in the feature with a ninth-place outing.
Taking Sunday off, Ward was back in action at Independence (Iowa.) Motor Speedway on Monday where he would score his best finish of the swing with a third-place finish. Tim trailed Tom Berry Jr. and Ethan Braaksma who joined him on the podium.
