Ward adds 25th win of 2023 at Lee County Speedway

Tim Ward returned to the driver’s seat of his Precision Performance Racing Suspensions No. 4TW Modified over the weekend as he was debuting brand new Performer Chassis for the rescheduled Halloween Race-Tacular at Scotland County Speedway (Memphis, Iowa).

Lined up on the second row for the $1,000-to-win A-Main via runner-up showing in his heat, Ward jumped up two positions in the 18-lap affair to register a second-place finish. He chased pole-starting Kurt Kile across the line with Jarrett Brown rounding out the podium.

For the Shiverfest on Saturday at Lee County Speedway (Donnellson, Iowa), Tim dashed into the main event with a third-to-first run in his heat. Setting sail on the opening circuit, Ward led flag-to-flag into the 20-lapper to record his 25th win of the 2023 season. He pocketed the $700 payday ahead of Austen Becerra, Charlie Mohr, Mark Burgtorf, and Bill Roberts Jr.
